Obayendo Pledges to Address Outstanding NATOMORAS Concerns Before New Engagements
Prince Segun Obayendo, National Coordinator of Transporters for Tinubu/Shettima 2027, on Wednesday undertook a working visit to the national headquarters of the National Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (NATOMORAS) in Abuja. He was accompanied by the group's Support Group Secretary, Mrs. Chinwe Uwaegbute, and was received by NATOMORAS National President Alhaji Usman Buba Gwoza along with his executive team.
The discussions, which extended over several hours, were described as frank and constructive. Obayendo acknowledged that certain commitments previously extended to the association had not been fully honoured and stressed that his immediate priority was to ensure those matters are resolved before any further requests are tabled.
He informed the gathering that he had visited the Presidential Villa earlier in the day to press for a meeting date regarding the association's concerns. While a date could not be confirmed immediately, as the responsible aides were away on official assignment, he gave assurances that he would follow up and communicate a definite date by Friday.
"I will present this matter to my principal with the urgency it demands," Obayendo stated. "Once it is resolved, we can chart the path forward together."
The meeting concluded with both parties agreeing to sustain open channels of communication and to address past lapses in a constructive manner.
